My Top 5 Albums of 2010 or: How I Learned to Stop...
(In no particular order) 1. Typhoon - Hunger and Thirst Local band makes good. Honestly, this album blew me away upon first listen, and it only got better with age. The songwriting is staggering, the arrangements beautiful and the band has a certain energy to it. There is danielpastor, who consistently churns out great photos. He is definitely worthy. I fucking love photography. I had my second paid shoot this weekend and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had behind the camera. The shots are at the developers until Tuesday, but I can’t wait to have them back. I am so happy with the decision I made to shoot all manual, it has made my a FAR more technically sound photographer, even if I still have a long ways to go. ...

Today I gave my all valuable recommendation to nycshawnphotos. You should be following him if you’re not. His film work is great in the kind of way that makes you remember the soul of a place like NYC. When I lived there, I was so busy, so taken back by the grandeur of the place that I couldn’t see the beauty of it. Plus, dude wrote this!

For the record, KEH is unreal. Just got my ‘BGN’ gear today. The F3HP body is in impeccable shape. Very light brassing on the bottom plate, but other than that, much more than I could have hoped for.
