My grandmother is an artist. Well, she has arthritis now, but she was a very talented painter. My sister can draw, doodles mostly, but she can draw. My Mom is a right decent singer.

I on the other hand, did not believe I had a creative bone in my body. That was until I picked up a camera, a cheap Minolta SLR that I found in a Tübingen camera store, and started to take pictures. Over the years, I’ve become decidedly more serious about photography and want to make it a part of my professional life.

I’m 29, single, a home owner. I work in communications, that is to say, I help tell stories. I’ve never done a thing that was expected of me. This is a chronicle of my progress in the art of photography.
